Liberty Children's Home
At Liberty Children's Home and Student Hostel we believe that every child is a gift from God into whom He has placed a potential. We strive to enable children to discover that potential, to dream big dreams about their future and give them the opportunity to shape their own lives - Pastor Hezekiah

Liberty Children's Home and Student Hostel is in the village of Chintalapudi, Ahdhra Pradesh, India

Liberty Children's Home is a UK charity that supports the work of an Indian charity registered with the name Abundant Life Ministries, led by Pastor Hezekiah. Part of this Indian charity is a children's home called the Liberty Children's Home and Student Hostel, which can best be described as a large foster home rather than an orphanage. There are some children without parents, others who have one parent and a few who have both parents. The Children's Home is in the village of Chintalapudi, Andhra Pradesh, India. After renting buildings for the children for 6 years, a permanent Home was built in 2007.

At the start of 2011 the Children's Home and Hostel were accommodating 37 boys, 6 girls and 1 student. Our UK charity provides funds to provide each of these children with secure accommodation, 3 meals each day, clothes, medical treatment and notebooks, pens, pencils, etc. to enable them to attend the village government schools.

Aware of the financial vulnerability of overseas projects and the ever increasing demands on UK charity givers, our charity has been working with Pastor Hezekiah to develope a self-support project in the form of a water buffalo dairy farm. This is progressing well and it is hoped that it will produce sufficient income to provide for all of the current number of children, within 18 months.

If you would like to know more about Liberty Children's Home and Student Hostel, just click on "Find out more". You will not be confronted with photos of sad children dressed in ragged clothes. The children at the Liberty Home, although many with sad lives, are well fed, well dressed and happy, because they now have a hope and a future.

If you decide to visit the other areas of our site, we hope that it brings some joy into your day and maybe, when there is so much bad news in the media, help you believe that there are still many good things happening in the world today.
